HAUNTED BRIDGE’S

Bothwell

She drifts from the fields towards the bridge where she disappears before the car crosses, who is this woman in colonial clothing, the colour grey, she is face less, she is what we call a “dooms day ghost” when she is seen some times a car will crash, so be careful.

Lachlan (Copley Creek)

A number of accidents have happened at this bridge, a white apparition of a female is seen just before an accident. A car broke down there some years back, while waiting for help their car started to shake violently by an unseen presence.

Raminea River

The bridge is gone but it’s past remains, the bridge had an area where cold spots, no animal would cross it, two men witnessed a female spirit in period clothing disappear before their eyes.

Old Perth Bridge

Washed away by floods of 1929, a ghostly female used to be seen on a regular occasion, but since the bridge was washed away, the spirit has faded away to.

Cullenswood

This old bridge is now gone, though at one time was haunted by a convict nurse who was seen pushing a pram.

Richmond Bridge

The oldest in Australia and the most haunted, George Grover is one of the spirits that walk the bridge, he has be seen, felt on the bridge for over 100 years, those who encounter George are fearful and scared, though it has never been recorded if George has attacked anyone, so we don’t know if he is someone to be frightened of?

There is a ghost of a man in a straw hat that is seen on rare occasion, though the man wears a hat but has no head, he just stands and watches people walk across the bridge.

The 3rd is a black dog, though this dog is not to be feared and it only appears to females, this happens when a female is walking the bridge alone the dog walks beside her until she has crossed the bridge, then the dog turns and disappears walking over bridge.

Ross Bridge

If ghosts are sighted on the bridge it’s a rare sight to see, there really is no ghost history to this bridge, but the track beside the river leading away from the bridge does, a spirit of a woman is seen standing on the track, when you get close, she disappears.
