Common mistakes
In the field of investigations
To a trained
investigator you can find the most common mistakes taken by armature
investigators on their quests to uncover ghosts…. All investigators that have
been doing this for a number of years have been though this, our first year was
hard trying to figure out what’s what, the more we studied video footage and
hours spent looking a pictures we been came adapted at noticing the strange
images and what not, the eyes need to be trained at first you won’t see it but
in time you will, keep rechecking all photos and videos… not only the eyes but
the ears aswell. The most common mistake is camera flash reflections, most
flashes illuminate on shinny surfaces and will give off a eerie glow or form a
ball of light, incest’s are often caught and some can give off an glow that can
be mistaken for something ghostly, if your not sure of what you may of captured
send it to your local ghost finding team and they may be able to help you
aswell as give you some tips of what to look for.
When we take a picture of something strange we look at web
sites that may have a similar image, there are hundreds of sites that can be
very helpful.
So here are some photos that may help you with the common
mistakes….

This is a moth that was in front of camera when flash went
off

Camera flash reflection, it can look ghostly but as you can
see it’s on the head stone…. which is a shinny surface

Shutter speed or night mode on your digital camera can
cause this effect, this image will be shot at a slower speed and that’s why
this light comes out streaky

What may look like an orb is actually caused from the
camera being pointed in direction of the sun, sun streaks and sun flares are
also common mistakes… they look ghostly but this is a natural occurrence
