First ever serious fright that we ever had. This is the inspiration for our Unnatural Show.We believe that the encounters we had may not have been human caused, Well we hope they werent you decide.
The following Bush Lights
The most creepiest investigation we had conducted to date. A year after the min min we went back to the bush but travelled a lot further in, on the journey up the wildlife was scurrying about, decayed branches fell off trees, reflective eyes from the wildlife starring back at us, the place had a feeling of being watched, none of us mentioned this at the time it was discussed later. It took about 1 full hour of walking to find a location that could be a possibility. We set up base in a clearing surrounded by trees, it was an uneasy spot. We had been there for over a couple of hours, when we all heard what sounded like a woman crying out, so we headed in the direction of it. We came to a fence and was about to climb over it, when Mike saw a shadowy figure move between the trees in front of us, we chatted about the darkness and bushland could be playing tricks, then our other team mate saw a figure as well dart between tree, then we heard the fence squeak as if someone climbing over it (it could have been a roo) but it unnerved us to the point of moving away… as we were walking back to base, Mike heard footsteps following us at the same pace, we all stopped and remained silent… then we all heard them, our nerves were feeling on edge, out of no where a faint gun blast echoed, then another gun blast but this time it was right beside us, it sounded like a musket fire…. This made us bolt (we had two thoughts go through our minds) was this ghostly or man…. We moved away from the area pretty fast and the sounds started to fade…. We all at once started to feel unsafe, so we headed back to the train line to gather our thoughts. We were walking up this dirt track, trees over covered it, (Bert) the other team mate stopped and mentioned a foggy mist approaching. The mist was small in size but very bright, in an instant it formed into a ball of light…. Was this the min min (we hoped so) it moved along a row of tree, moving through the branches and around the base of the tree, we watched in awe, Bert didn’t have his camera on, but turned it on as it stopped near the track that we were walking on, Mike and I were filming it and it looks very much like a torch light, so we thought someone was out shooting, but there was no sound from vehicle or by footsteps. Then for some strange reason we all mentioned it was waiting for us, as if it had seen us, then it started to move in our direction, we picked up pace as we all thought it was getting to freaky, it followed from a distance from behind but every now and then be ahead of us, strange sounds started to erupt from the bush which made it worse. For around 5 minutes this ball of light followed us, if we stopped it would stop, we moved it would too. I started feeling unsafe for the team and we all must have been thinking the same thing…. time to run. But when we picked up pace so did the light, it seemed the light was stalking us. At one point we moved ahead of it and lost sight, the bush land became less active, I went to relieve myself as I was doing so I saw the light moving our way, this is where I became convinced it was not a shooter, the ball of light moved through a tree and continued on it path towards us, now it was about a hundred meters away and closing, no sounds with it the bush became silent and creepy. We instantly bolted for the train line, all along watching around us for the light which again disappeared, we made it to the line and followed the track, in the clearing on top of the hill we saw the light, which was over 3 km’s away from us, we lost sight of it as we were running but this was for ten to twenty seconds, in that time it move that distance and disappeared into the hill. This remains one of the most intriguing encounters we have had and we have had nothing like it since.
